We are proud to announce the launch of Neurodiverse*City, a liberatory third space created by and for neurodivergent people to thrive, connect, and lead change.

Our mission

Our mission is to examine and disrupt the systems that entrench barriers to opportunity. We are committed to neuroaffirming, intersectional, trauma-informed, and culturally-responsive practices that celebrate the richness and complexity of neurodivergent identities.

Through our work, we aim to:

  • Affirm neurodivergent identities and promote psychological safety

  • Build cross-cultural coalitions rooted in solidarity and shared liberation

  • Center the lived experiences and wisdom of LatinX, African-American, and Indigenous communities

  • Close equity and opportunity gaps by uplifting funds of knowledge and community resilience

This is more than a movement—it’s a reclamation of space, story, and self.

Follow our journey and join us as we reimagine belonging and build liberatory pathways forward.

What is a third space?

A third space is a transformative environment that exists outside of traditional institutions like school, home, or work. It is a place of authenticity, affirmation, and possibility—where people can explore their identities, challenge norms, and co-create new ways of being. Coined by cultural theorist Homi K. Bhabha and expanded in education and community research, third spaces make room for the hybrid, the in-between, and the unheard—especially for people historically excluded from systems of power.
